Hello! Thanks for stopping by! As a Realtor, my job is that of a match-maker between you and your perfect home. To do my job well, I have to understand your needs and wants relative to community and lifestyle, as well as financial considerations... and that means getting to know each other!
So let’s get the ball rolling by telling you something about myself.
Before relocating to Sarasota, I lived in Shrewsbury, Vermont, near Killington and Okemo Ski Resorts, where I worked as an associate broker for Coldwell Banker Watson Realty and was a broker/co-owner of a ReMax office as well. I hold the GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) and ePro designations.
Prior to my real estate career, I taught graphic design at Castleton State College in Castleton, VT. I was an art director for McGraw Hill and a graphic designer for ABC Television in New York City. I hold a BFA Degree from New York University and Parsons School of Design. In my present career, I am fortunate to be able to put this art and marketing experience to work for my customers to sell their homes faster and more effectively.
As far as leisure activities go, I love to travel! The photo above caught me on the shores of Sydney Harbor. I enjoyed seeing Australia (particularly the Outback) and New Zealand very much. But I must admit, no matter how far away I fly, I’m always glad to get back home to beautiful Sarasota!
I became a property owner here five years ago, and now I enjoy helping others relocate to this bit of paradise on earth. I know first-hand what a wonderful place Sarasota is to live, raise a family or retire. As a matter of fact, Money Magazine recently named Sarasota one of the best places to retire young!
One of the great attractions Sarasota has for me is the Gulf and beaches. I love to kayak and watch exotic bird life on the lagoon behind my house. I enjoy eating out as well. Luckily, Sarasota has many terrific restaurants, and there’s always a new one to discover!
I love real estate because it gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people and see some beautiful homes as well. I also enjoy the negotiating process and derive great pleasure from putting together a successful deal that leaves both the buyer and seller feeling good.
Most of all, I enjoy introducing people to this beautiful, culture-filled city! I came to Sarasota for the first time almost thirty years ago, and have visited frequently ever since for family reasons. A lot has changed since then! I remember when the old blue-and-white Holiday Inn overlooked the harbor and cattle grazed in pastures along Clark Road.
I’m looking forward to meeting you. Let’s get together soon...
